FRANCE 24 provides international news 24/7 from a French perspective and is broadcast in three languages: French, English and Arabic.
Launched only in Dec 2007 it has had a tremendous response with reach into 80 million homes and 400.000 hotel rooms in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the east coast of the United States and will be available in Asia and the rest of the US during 2008. FRANCE 24's programming is divided more or less equally between news coverage and news magazines or special reports with emphasis on cultural and lifestyle news and frequent updates.
France 24 is targeting the world's opinion leaders who are looking for reliable information and need to be exposed to different points of view and an alternate to CNN, BBC, and Al Jazeer.
France 24 is built as a true news hub model broadcasting both over the airwaves and over the internet so that opinion leaders around the world can be informed anywhere, at any time.
